I qualified as an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist from the Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education. I am registered with the UK Council for Psychotherapy and the Health Care Professions Council. I am currently undertaking a PhD at the University of the Arts, Philadelphia.
You cannot prevent the birds of sorrow from flying over your head, but you can prevent them from building nests in your hair
I am a clinically trained and certified Psychotherapist. Over the past 20 years I have crafted my approach to human development combining psychoanalysis, creativity and the experience of being in nature. I describe my approach as a deep psychological process with practical application.  After all, what good is self-awareness if you can’t use it to create positive change in your life.
I have extensive clinical experience in many areas of mental health including acute/chronic anxiety and depression, burn-out, LGBTQI+ related issues, gender transitioning, trauma and abuse, living with personality disorders and loss of meaning and purpose in life. My clinical practice is based in central London where I offer individual psychotherapy and supervision.
As well as working with individuals, I have over twenty years of experience facilitating groups, bringing communities together to resolve conflicts and create a better future together. I have led retreats in wilderness locations in Europe, US and Africa for many years. For example, an eight-day retreat I lead in The High Atlas Mountains, Morocco, has been ranked in The Time and SELF Magazine’s top twenty life changing experiences. I am a regular guest lecturer at Universities on the role of creativity and nature in mental health.
