I work with adults in 1-1 and groups. In sessions, I offer clients a safe refuge to ??journey inside? during major life transitions and periods of loss, depression and/or anxiety. Arts therapy gives voice to our inner world, helping people connect with lost, forgotten, damaged or neglected parts of themselves. Arts therapy can also lead to the discovery of inner resources and hidden creative potentials. I tailor sessions to meet the specific needs of each client.
My practice is based at The London Art Therapy Centre, a dedicated arts therapy space with a range of creative and natural materials on offer. NB: In October 2016, The London Art Therapy Centre will be moving from Archway N19, to Kings Cross, N1.
If you??d like to find out more about my approach, here is a short TEDx talk on the use of the arts as a compass in times of transition. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9cgaZElnp-4.
??Pia takes great care in creating an atmosphere that is open, welcoming and creative. She guides you to some real insights with great compassion and a gentle touch.?
??I want to thank you so much for being such a wonderful support; you helped me rediscover hidden/closed parts of myself. All the art/visualisations/discussions helped me access that strong 'mama warrior' part of myself which I knew deep down was there all along, but you gently guided me and helped me release and uncover it.?
