MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy and MA in Integrative Child Psychotherapy
Theodora is a Counsellor and an Integrative Child Psychotherapist.
She has an MA in Integrative Child Psychotherapy and MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has practiced Counselling and Psychotherapy for over 15 years. She works with children, young people, individuals and parents. Her work is informed and inspired by existential philosophy, psychodynamic, relational and attachment based therapy. The methods she uses, varies according to the individual and the presenting issues. She incorporates various creative media in her therapeutic work such as art, play, sand therapy, mindfulness in order to facilitate the exploration and expression of feelings and thoughts.
Apart from her private work, Theodora has worked in various settings such as NHS, children's homes, schools, charities supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people with complex mental health needs.
She has experience working with clients on various issues affecting their well-being such as trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, phobias, loss and bereavement, obsessive compulsive behaviour, self-esteem, self-harm, problems in intimacy.
